Job Announcement in Local Newspaper
In a local newspaper, Archives Balochistan Jobs 2024 has been published. The Directorate of Archives Balochistan announced several temporary posts for residents of Balochistan holding domicile and local residency of Balochistan.
Application Process
Interested candidates may apply by submitting the required documents along with a recent passport-sized photo. The last date for application submission is 11 July 2024. Applications must be submitted at the Directorate of Balochistan Archives, Spini Road, Quetta, during office hours.
Available Positions
The announced positions for Balochistan Archives are:
- Information Technology (IT) Officer: The candidate must be from Kalat Zone and hold an MSc or BS degree in Computer Science.
- Chemist Technician: The candidate must be a local of Kalat Zone and have completed an MSc or BS degree in Chemistry.
- Assistant Archaeologist: The candidate must be a local of Kalat Zone and have a master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Library Sciences, or History from a recognized university.
- Watchman: The candidate must be a local of Markan or Sibi Division, be able to read and write, and have an age limit of 43 years according to the Balochistan age relaxation policy.
Required Documents
Interested candidates for Archives Balochistan Jobs must attach recent passport-sized photos along with all educational documents, local residency proof, and a CNIC copy. Government employees have to submit their applications through the proper channel to Balochistan Archives. After the last date, no application will be entertained.
Written Test Details
The written test for the concerned vacant positions will be on 15 July 2024. Candidates must bring their original documents on the test day, i.e., 15 July 2024. TA/DA allowance will not be provided to candidates appearing for the Archives Balochistan Jobs 2024.
Additional Information
The maximum age requirement for the positions is 30 years. These jobs are purely temporary, with no chance of becoming permanent. Furthermore, while the maximum age is 30 years, age relaxation according to Balochistan rules and regulations extends the age limit to 43 years.
